Machinable Ceramic
Yttria stabilized zirconia (Y-TZP, yttria doped tetragonal zirconia polycrystalline), known as the most tough oxide composite,
has been applied in many drastic environments and operations due to its unique microstructure which accounts for the hardness and fractural strength.
Nowadays, Y-TZP is the only material for connectors of submarine optical cable, bear ring for oil rig. It is also material of Porsche break system and
protection tile of space shuttle and, in biomedical field, the artificial hip joints.
With strong material design and handling capability, EE-Tec has penetrated its products into fields of precision mechanical parts, optical transmission,
electronic materials, new energy development, nano related and biomedical applications.

- Other impurity <0.05%
- Hardness ( Vicker) Hv1= 1250~1300
- Density > 6.0g/cm3
- Fractural strength 900~1200mPa
- Powder particles size (D50) 130~170nm
Y-TZP Machinable Ceramic
Near nano powder is designed to achieve excellent strength and reliability.
Cold Isostatic Pressing, which is same level as artificial hip joint, is chosen to eliminate potential internal defects
and ensure theoretical density and stable shrinkage after sintering.
The material and properties of sintered body are completely complied with ISO6872 Standard and ISO10993 requirements.
